"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink"

Matthew 25:35

In 2017 a group of volunteers from the Ahoghill area traveled to an orphanage and school in Zambia.  During the time spent on-site it was obvious that the children within the orphanage were well cared for, the children from the local area who attended the school were impoverished and under-nourished.  The teachers shared how the children found it difficult to concentrate hard because of hunger.  Mulyata Children’s Mission now feeds 290 children daily.

After much prayer and seeking the way forward ‘Mulyata Children’s Mission’ was set up as a charitable company in spring 2019, with the aim of providing a daily meal and help with uniforms and schools supplies.

    Want to help?

    1. Pray for Mulyata Children’s Mission. For God’s guidance and provision and that many children and families would experience the love of the Lord through its care.
    2. Support our Charity Shop at Station Road, Cullybackey, by donations of furniture, clothing and bric a brac, by becoming a volunteer in the shop for a few hours each week, and by calling in to purchase from the great selection of various goods which are always available for sale.
    3. By giving financial help, either by one off donation or by regular monthly giving by Standing Order (Standing Order Form available). Our present estimate for the cost of providing the daily meal would be £8 per child per month, but any donation no matter how small can make a difference.
